(11/1) The Adams County Arts Council will be offering two food and wine pairing events in November at the AECenter, 125 S. Washington Street, Gettysburg. Both events are tickets and tickets can be purchased online, adamsarts.org, or by calling: 717-334-5006.
Taste of Fiji, a month of lunch event scheduled for Monday, November 4, 12:00-1:00 p.m., is a three course Fiji Island themed lunch created by Chef Subarna Sijapati and paired with three flights of wine chosen by Wine Specialist Nikki Biggus, for a fixed price of $25.00. The menu will include vegetable and fish soup, traditional lovo method bbq, bread rolls steamed in
coconut milk and cassava cake for dessert.
Tastes of the Season: Autumn Food & Wine Pairings, a five course and five wine flight dinner event will feature the vibrant spices and tastes of fall with a farm to table theme created by Chef Anna Fetter and wines chosen by Wine Specialist, Nikki Biggus, is scheduled for Monday, November 11, 6:00-8:00 p.m. The menu will include a roasted carrot and apple bisque soup, a
roasted fall salad with pumpkin maple vinaigrette, pumpkin chicken curry with coconut rice, caramel apple cake and more. Tickets can be purchased online, adamsarts.org. Member price of $50.00, nonmember $55.00
