Annual LeVan Garden Party
 to benefit Arts Council

To celebrate spring and the arts, Jennifer and David LeVan, owners of Gettysburg Battlefield Harley-Davidson, are hosting the 8th annual Garden Party at their home from 3 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, April 26.  All proceeds benefit the Adams County Arts Council.  The LeVan garden, where Jennifer has planted 75,000 spring bulbs, overlooks the Gettysburg battlefield. Jennifer’s background in the catering industry will take center stage with her lavish array of culinary creations which have become a much-anticipated tradition at the party.

The Adams County Arts Council’s mission is to cultivate an arts-rich community.  Its arts programs and services reached a record audience of more than 54,500 people in 2008.  The Arts Council’s primary goals are to provide high quality arts in education opportunities for area school students and to support the work of county arts presenters and artists.  The Arts Council also offers a wide variety of classes through its Imagination Station arts learning center for children and adults.

According to Arts Council Executive Director Chris Glatfelter, “We’re grateful for Jen and David’s tremendous generosity again this year.  The Garden Party is a wonderful social event that’s great fun and a good opportunity to network and meet new people. ”

The public is invited to attend and enjoy the camaraderie of others who share in the pride and satisfaction of knowing you’re helping to improve the quality of life in Adams County! Reservations are $50 per person, requested by April 22, and may be made by contacting ACAC at 717 334-5006 or e-mail info@adamsarts.org.  For more information on Arts Council programs or membership, visit the web site www.adamsarts.org
